Biased wording is one of the fastest ways to undermine an otherwise well-sampled study. This guide summarises checks research companies can run before launch — aligned with CKP Script’s bias-oriented guided suggestions and professional scripting workflow.
Watch for leading and loaded phrasing
Replace emotionally charged adjectives and assumed behaviours with neutral stems. If a question presupposes a product was used, add a filter first.
Balance scales and options
Offer symmetric response options and avoid bundling two ideas in one item. Matrix fatigue creates straight-lining — split or shorten grids when the KPI does not require full factorial coverage.
Review in the builder, not only in Word
Preview themes, mobile layout, and logic paths in the platform so bias introduced by layout (e.g., visually preferred options) is caught early.
